Everyone hoping. I would be more convinced if they had an English Language update for other markets. Either way silver or red roadsters have been spotted testing in the UK. I think its a August/September release. Again if MG need a Beta Tester in the South East. I'm available with Home Charging ;-)

Thanks for this.

Don't like the washed out red wheel and seat inserts at all with the dark interior. Hopefully we'll have the option of grey and black when it gets here.

Pushing on! Less granny driving. For a car that weighs 1985kg the response is good. Although Alex highlighted some understeer that caused him to go off road. Some complaints in the comments about floatiness and bouncing

Typically a symptom of AWD adn added weight. The grey interior looks much better and cleaner! MG apparently will release the L6 (smaller L7) in EU next year with an Early version Solid State Battery apparently!

Australia. Seems right hand drive. It was mentioned on a video Thailand right hand drive Cyberster releases in Late July!

Cyberster on track. Happy to wait till it drops to 40k-50k then ill look at AWD. F type to tight for me. I haven't been impressed with cars on the market. I feel like going back to Nissan Z or just getting a Porsche Cayman 718. But id be lying if i say i wasnt interested after seeing it at MG Newbury plus i sold my car 9 months ago. I sat in it and the space is perfect. Adjusted the seats, can see out. The cars lower than my nissan Z. Getting in and out is tricky. Can make it work. Ill do what i did with the Nismo Z. Call around for heavily discounted ex demos or wait some months for used approved! 45k for AWD after 1 year is tempting despite further depreciation towards mid 30s by year 3. No im not from the future!

Nice video.

Shame that the production run is so limited and prices are higher than hoped, will put it out of reach of many.
I hope so as we don't need these to be on everyone's drive

Wow I can't believe how badly judged that position in the market is...
I do love my mg5, and I was sold on getting one of these. But 50k+ is madness.

No one is ever going to compare an mg to a porche, let alone of they do compare the two and find the porche is cheaper and then buy the mg!

Ahh well it was a nice dream while it lasted
I've owned 5 911s and sould have a cyberster over them at this price point 7 days a week

Does anyone know what the recommended charge level of the batteries in the Cyberster is / will be? I currently have a Tesla M3P which uses NMC batteries and they recommend only charging to 80% unless you’re going to do a long journey - is the Cyberster the same or can you charge it to 100% regularly like the M3 standard range with LFP batteries?

Dunno if this helps

The Cyberster will be equipped with an NMC battery made by United Auto Battery System (UABS) – the JV between SAIC and CATL. The entry-level roadster has the TZ230XY1301 electric motor on the rear axle for 314 hp

Can probably have a search of other cars that use this system like the MG4 Xpower etc

It is the 77kW NMC battery from the MG4 ER in the UK. Standard 80/100 advice applies. However, you'll get a decent range from it and as you can go to 100% whenever you need to, it shouldn't be an issue.

Unless you are doing high mileage every day, should be fine.

Saw the car at St Albans. Good location for test drives being away from the city...It's crazy how the cars been talked about for 3 years yet the staff know nearly nothing about the car. The car on display was the single motor and was off. They were able to give it a jump. They all thought it was the AWD GT. You can tell by the 19 inch wheels its a single motor. A guy came off the street and could tell by opening the bonnet and looking under the covering the secondary motor was non existent?!

Anyways was able to cycle through some menus. Chinese language not the Geneva car with English Language menu.. supersport (track, trap times etc). Was trying to cycle the ADAS and other menus...key prompts popped up..Light stalks etc all working. Indicator noise quite loud. Unable to get to sound actuator menu again needed the key.AC etc was working fine...The car was at the back of the showroom. When it should have been front and center. Boot was still an issue not opening without locking and unlocking the car. Door sensors are deactivated and not functioning. Some features like heated seats werent functioning. Some warnings required the key to present. The door release in center unlocked the door. But a latch was still holding the door from being pulled up. Hopefully the final car doesn't suffer from these issues.

Lovely car and affinity program was mentioned but it's unlikely as cars are being made to order atm. A few people mentioned wanting one but price is too high for what it is. Another guy said why wait can get it and get the Boxster next summer! If you got the means why not. All of these people have had porsches, bentleys etc. So it helps if MG can make the right moves with staff knowing what theyre selling and getting clued up on it. All the information about these cars are online. Interesting to see what issues arise from it.
