For shell its the shell (old new motion) card/app. Its an awful system, tooks months to sort out a bill payment as my card had expired, no help line, no email responses, no way of paying it despite months of efforts. Finally got a contact & paid by bank transfer, so out dated!
This is a very good site for knowing your low emission zones
https://urbanaccessregulations.eu/
examples are: -
Austria - whole areas
Belgium - Cities
France - Crit Air in cities
Germany - Cities
Switzerland - Geneva - you can use Crit Air from France
They have a useful map!
Excellent report!
I'm glad that more & more are travelling with their EVs and reporting on their experiences. France is the easiest in my opinion at the moment, with Portugal 2nd.
Aren't those French chargers easy & cheap versus the UK!
You should find that charge rates in the summer are even...
There are now lots of toll passes and environmental permits required for EU travels.
I'm doing 7 new countries this summer. Swiss pass done online, but seem able to dodge the rest!
Already have Crit Air
Long and short of it is that MG now no longer allow dealers to do the Tesla update on pre-facelift MG5s without a new EVCC unit.
January update released the Tesla update
2 April update moved it from warranty to payable
Now - not allowed
Grrrr MG
OK, taken my MG5 LR Exclusive in for the Tesla upgrade.
Dealer is very helpful but MG are not being so. MG are saying that I need a new EVCC, which I understand from Miles etc is not true. There seems to be a recent update bulletin from MG blocking the Tesla upgrade on pre-facelift. They have...
My calculations are less generous but essentially I have a similar set up.
Pellet Stove = 206% return or 12 years of free heating due to RHI grant.
Solar Thermal = 71% return so far due to grant + generation.
Zappi 1 gained 90% return until replaced
Zappi 2 is only on 2% as it was installed...
Disagree.
Insurance companies who have restrictive deals with repairers maybe are profiting from the current slow process, aggravated by no skills regarding EV batteries (note from Cleeverly on being made to replace a perfect battery for an insurer because it had a scratch) and poor closed...
Just a question.
When an insurance company writes off a perfectly good EV due to a scratch on the battery pack, do they then sell on the car for parts / battery for a profit?
As I read it, if you have the later EVCC unit (Long range from late 2021), its a software update under warranty, but if you have an older or SR model, then a new unit is required which is correctly defined as an upgrade to the car.
