Removing tar spots

Use white spirit to remove tar spots and stubborn grease stains from the paintwork. Then wash the area immediately with soapy water to remove all traces of the spirit.

😂 I just got the car a few weeks ago and still keep the instruction manual and this forum page open on my laptop next to my work stuff ... as soon as someone posts something I'm diving into MG manual pages ... 😅
