Stuart - I think that you mean on Easter Monday?
A couple of suggestions based on my own experiences and posts on the forum;

1/does your MG EV have rattles/creaks?
most common areas on the ZS seem to be sunroof, A pillar trims, steering column, front screen surround. What’s the MG5 like?
should EV’s be silent? Is a rattle here and there acceptable? Are we too critical? What do dealers say is acceptable? Should your car be rattle free - and for how long?

2/the dreaded BMS trundles on!
Still confusion on wether the lower voltage update should be applied to all cars when in for service - many have had their service since but still have the higher voltage BMS - is this ok? There is no consistency?
is there yet a definitive way of being sure that you do not have the faulty BMS? - owners concerned and would like to understand in case they might get future issues. Some have said that it took ages for their faulty BMS to show - maybe due to the charging regime and usage?

thanks

Adding to the creaks / rattles comment above, I would include transmission noises. I’ve noticed that at speeds between 30 - 40 mph, on a smooth level road, neither accelerating or decelerating, my ZS has a distinct “whine”. It’s like a chattering of gears. Is this common and anything to be worried about, or just that the car is generally quiet that it can be heard.
Thanks

David

This might be useful;

I have purchased roof bars for my ZS EV Exclusive. Worth the £24.99 I paid. Believe the seller has put them up this week to £28.99 but not bad for universal lockable bars.

They look good. Do they need any testing approval rating? I’m no expert but all the posts around regulation of roof rails has made me think about how the items that attach to them are regulated and tested for capacity, fixings used etc. In the event of a failure (which I accept is unlikely) it’s nice to know that you’re covered.

The handbook for the ZS confirms that load capacity is 75kg. The bars have been tested to 100kg.
