Thought when I spotted 200mls range I'd suddenly hit the jackpot so took a pick
But as soon as I touched the steering wheel it suddenly reset to 163 😥
Can't complain it's still 163 lol I'm delighted with that to be honest one stop from home to Glasgow, will be one stop getting down to Farnborough for fully charged when it's on so really can't complain
But did enjoy seeing the 200mls pop up on the dash

Thats superb. I’ve never seen that.

I think the best I've got displayed is 177 miles, obviously it's a guess based on your recent driving history. On a similar note I did about a 90 mile trip (2 x 45 miles) yesterday and thought I'd try driving to maximise my Kwh (B roads, back lanes, a few faster stretches). Best I got is 4.6 - I dunno how anyone exceeds this - I was accelerating so slowly I had a fair amount of traffic behind me, driving any more reservedly would've been a nightmare!

It's done it again but this time it's stayed on the screen and looks great

I have had this a couple of times.

My guess is that the computer is using your previous Miles per Kw, until it updates itself to the standard prediction.

I have noticed since the last update and allowing the car to balance the batteries after it reaches 100% charged, my range has gradually increased by 10 miles each time I charge.

I put the car on charge last night using my Rolec 7kwh Home Charger, and my range has increased yet again from 195 miles on the last charge to 205 miles this time in Economy Mode.

And it is staying at that, doesn’t suddenly drop when driving around town, only if I thrash it on the motorway, drive it in any other setting than Economy (which I do occasionally), or of course use the Aircon throughout my journey rather than open the sunroof, then it is less.

Hi @AndyNWuk .
I have seen similar mileage reported on my ZS EV only this week.
Full charge and balance reported a predicted range of 208 miles on the GOM when booted up into the default mode of normal and Regen level 3.
I know resetting the trip meters would have reduced this prediction a good way, but I never bothered resetting it to be honest.
I agree, the high predicted mileage is due to the car calculating the last previous trips we have done.
If you check your efficiency it is likely to be reporting a good figure, I would predicted a figure of around 4.2 M/kWh ish ??????.
Our even higher, if you have being driving very carefully.
The warmer weather plays a big factor in the reported ( predicted ) range of course.
Shame we don’t see that sort range all year round, I must admit.
In a way, it is a little like any ICE vehicle.
The fuel consumption is always better in the warmer weather.
When the heater or the A/C is not used on vehicles then the consumption of energy is always a lot lower.
Nobody who drives an ICE even bothers about the effect on there range with using the HVAC because they are sitting on a massive amount of spare capacity in the tank.
EV drivers tend to pay a little more attention to this type of stuff 🤣.

We routinely see 214 after a full charge. However to get that high you have to turn the aircon off (makes around 30 miles difference) and switch to Eco mode.

What I would expect to see this time of year and in ECO mode.
I never bother to use ECO mode to be honest, I like the Max Regen level 3 and normal mode.
I find you can achieve the same efficiency in NORMAL mode if you drive in a conservative manner.
Others owners have found the same.

197 has been my best - but during the past couple of weeks this had fallen to 183 then 177 using eco of course !! I’m sure it’s weather and GON related !!

I actually got 5.3m/Kwh last week on a short trip, well pleased with that and I wasn't trying too hard either (perhaps that's the secret ;)).

Have had my ZS EV about six weeks and done about 1200 miles. I have never seen more than 145 miles range after a full charge. Still using granny charger while waiting for my charge point to be installed. Also after a full charge the battery voltage reads 459. Would this indicate that it is missing the latest BMS update?

Yes. I would be furious if I got my new car 6 weeks ago and it had not been updated.
Take it back to the dealer and insist that they update it.

I had my first service 4 weeks ago this included the BMS upgrade I immediately say an increase in range after charging at home up to 175 miles the weather was still cold and wet now the warmer weather has finally arrived I am seeing a minimum of 188 and a best of 201 unlike my previous ev a Nissan ENV200 the range stated is the range I get.

Do you actually achieve those ranges or is this just a predicted range when fully charged?
