I am taking the car in to have the drivers window wiring replaced and the dealer service man said that they would do three software updates:

1/ An update to allow a smart charger to start a timed charge.
2/ An infotainment update to stop the screen shutting down or blinking.
3/ A battery management update.

Are there any of these that might cause any problems does anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

The majority of owners will have already had these done.
If there were issues of any significance arising you'd find dozens of threads on the subject.

If they are doing the BMS update, ask them to ensure they "Tick The Box" for the EVCC module of the car, this is an easy one to miss.
This is a side update to the BMS update.
Once this is installed, the car will charge on A/C with both locked or unlocked.

Great thanks for the advice.
