Because of lockdown car delivered by transporter (I live 160 miles from nearest dealer) & doesn't have temperature in RH top corner. It also bongs at everything. Does this mean it doesn't have the latest update? Once I get to the bottom of the bonging I might start to see if I enjoy my new car...

Not experienced the "delight" of the BB but dealer said he had silenced them as he found the noise annoying - so, fingers crossed.

Don't have a FIT here (did in last house). I installed the array to run the house electrics & charge the car. Not so economical yet but electricity prices are only going one way. I will see how the granny goes. We do have free charge point a couple of miles away.

As a newbie I take it the "granny charger" is the 13 amp plug cable. I have a solar array (3.8 kW inverter, 4.2 panel max output) with no FIT. I was going to try with just the 13a charger & if not suitable get a Zappi (already have a myenergi box to divert output to immersion heater). However...

Thanks both, I did check with dealer (salesman) & he said he wasn't aware of any updates. This of course does beg the question asked by Mark, "How do you know what IS the latest version". Best practice would surely be that MG would have an owners page on their website that details a new version...

Just about to take delivery (tomorrow) of car that was due delivery day after lockdown. It would be too much to hope I guess that they have installed any software updates that have come out subsequently.
