I went off round town, wife was left in the car with a sleeping baby. Probably not a very common situation but frustrating that they couldn't have heating on.

Thanks, I've not tried the rapid charge, never been in enough of a rush to pay the premium but it sounds like I'll have to if I want heating.

Do you have to plug it in/turn on the heating in a specific way to get it to heat? Do you need to use the app (not available on my 22 plate model)? Do you chant some magic words?

Clearly not me, I hadn't seen that in the manual. That does seem to rule out heating and charging.

That's a shame, I haven't tried again since but it sounds like I won't have any more luck.

Putting the car in ready mode allows the heater to work but it stops the charging.
