    If the rubber gasket is the only part in touch with the glass wouldn’t you apply the tape to the rubber?

    On this windscreen creak crack rattle issue, on our 2022 ZS EV its actually possible to pull off the rubber seal gently from the plastic scuttle tray, clean it and the window, apply some silicone grease, and push it back on, without the need to remove windscreen wipers or the tray itself.
