Anyone know how to mute the rear parking sensors on a 2021 MG ZS EV? When I have the bike rack on with a bike, the rear sensors think it's about to hit something, so constantly beep loudly. Makes reversing down a long driveway very painful.
How heavy is your bike rack? I've been using this bike rack for years with ebikes and found it very sturdy, weighs just under 7kg, if you can find something like this where you live...
The sunroof control is similar to that on my VW Tiguan face-lift 2011 2.0tdi. A number of other parts seem the same as on the Tiguan (even the sun visor in this same photo).

I'm also experiencing slow charging on MG ZS EV 2021, even at rapid 150kw chargers it won't go above about 38kw. I've tried at low (20%) soc and high, it's been cold (2-8deg c) and warmer (14deg c), but since it's winter I haven't had any hot days to try it on.
The armrest between the front seats in my 2021 MG ZS EV is creaky when you put weight on it with your arm. It's a plastic creaky noise.
Has anyone got tips on how to improve this?
Thanks in advance
If you read my original post you'd see why I'm trying this. I'm already using an android auto wireless dongle.
After a few 100 more km it does seem more reliable with the extra power supply through the USB hub so am persisting.
I find the infotainment usually needs a "hold home button for 60 sec" reboot after rapid charging. If I don't do this, Android Auto usually won't work, the icon lights up but doesn't respond to being pressed.
I'm now trying this. I've got a USB hub that accepts power via Micro-USB which is coming from the cigarette lighter. So far it seems better but not 100% reliable. I'll keep testing it for a few 100 more km but it's frozen twice in about 2hrs of driving so still problematic. I'm likely to go back...
I was wondering if the black screen issue for some of us is because the Android Auto Wireless adapters want to draw at up to 1A from the USB 5V port, but my understanding is the ZS only supplies 0.5A to the front USB ports. So the only adapters that would work are those which somehow don't draw...
Unlock car, plug in the charging cable, wait 10-15sec for picky chargers, then activate the DC charger either through the charging unit itself (e.g. RFID fob/touchscreen/etc) or the app if they provide one.
Posting here the log of the upgrade output from successfully updating the maps on my 2021 MG ZS EV Gen 1 infotainment, in case it's useful to anyone trying to debug/troubleshoot these units.
Upgrade was done from a USB stick prepped using Naviextras Toolbox.
I've redacted some of the unique...
The heater at least isn't just binary on/off in terms of power use.
The cold/heat is graduated for power consumption. Ignoring the blue, the white in the middle doesn't engage the heater, and then the first pale red segment will engage the heater at a low level, power cycling it frequently...
