I get this too. Always in the same places, different times of day, no message, no other passengers, don't use the inbuilt sat-nav and have turned off all sat-nav alerts just in case. Turned off all the radio alerts, traffic/weather etc. Really don't understand it but find it pretty amusing.

I was having this issue with the carlinkit 4.0. I went into the settings and changed the Wi-Fi channel to a less used one. This seems to have fixed it as there is less interference there. Cant remember which channel I changed it to, but it was whatever Google told me to do… Used to drop out...

I’ve just double checked and it definitely seems to be working for me. If I log my wife’s phone in with email, app defaults to KM, if I then log in with my phone number, defaults to miles… This is on iOS though so maybe only working for iPhones…?

Same here, R33 and almost exclusively use the button. I’ve got used to opening the driver door and turning the car on now anyway, saves time overall but still curious.

Maybe it’s only after the driver’s door has opened that it stays unlocked…? I’ll have to run some tests.
