So we picked up the MG5 last week and heading home now getting some funny looks. At least it didn't have to go on the roof! But it fits and can even still carry a passenger (in the front seat, not in the coffin 😉 )

I know this has been discussed before but those threads are quite old so thought I'd start a new one... I'm about to get a MG 5 2022 pre facelift which I know isn't rated for towing. I'd like to install a towbar on it and I see there appear to be a few available from Brink and GMK now for 2020...

Thanks for the amusing replies folks. Not found one to buy yet (soooo many online don't have FSH so no warranty) which is getting a bit annoying filtering through them all. But maybe I shouldn't worry about that having read up on the reputation of warranty claims.

Thanks folks. That's good that the passenger seat can fold, the Kona is a terrible design for that, it doesn't go right forwards and doesn't tilt forward or back very much either! Going to cost us about £4k to upgrade to the 5 with low miles and 4yrs warranty left so quite tempted...

So as the title really... And I thought the question might amuse folk. Backstory is that I'm a Kona owner but looking to swap to a MG5 soon as I've got some issues with the Kona and out of warranty. My wife is going on a course to make a willow coffin and she needs to transport it back! So...
