Do you expect that MG will improve its MG Pilot to a level similar to Tesla's FSD?

Definitely pulling twice when I enable it, will check for the green lines next time I try it though. I don't use it much though because of the poor steering and because it's very fussy about how tightly you grip the steering wheel. Light pressure gets a rebuke!

KERS; how to or how not to use...

Another thing to add to my list of niggles. Surely it's just a software change to use regen under ACC?

Did you buy your car new?

I bought mine new on the Affinity pricing. I believe they all come with a Granny charger but part of this deal was they threw in a MG branded type 2 cable. It was actually missing when the car arrived but came in the post a week later.

    Mg app refresh

What version is that? Mine looks different, like it has for a long time. None of the octagons.

    Mg app refresh

Which app are you referring to? If you mean MG iSmart, I am still on 2.0.5 which came out 7th August. The What's New section only talks about service booking and history checking, for some countries only.

Do you expect that MG will improve its MG Pilot to a level similar to Tesla's FSD?

I have no information but based on the rate of development I have seen so far (basically zero) I really wouldn't expect it. Even the current lane assist is at the 'zigzag between the white lines' level. I don't detect any appetite for improving quality/features. Sadly, as there's lots on my car...

My upgrades and does your ZS have these niggles?

I can't comment on France as we took the Bilbao ferry. Charging wasn't a big issue but I did use Electroverse, ABRP and Google to find charging stations as they don't all tell the same story, and there were more choices on the more southerly route we took going down than the more northerly...

My upgrades and does your ZS have these niggles?

I get that, and have certainly noticed the difference in economy when forced to DIY (mainly Spanish roads that were too variable in conditions). Sadly I have achilles tendonitis in my right heel and lots of use of the right pedal will cause it to flare up. ACC was a requirement for me when...

My upgrades and does your ZS have these niggles?

I forgot to add this, whenever the ACC is applying the brakes, say in slow moving traffic, they judder and graunch terribly. They are fine when I apply them manually, and it's nothing like the ABS noises I've had on other cars. You know, when reading that, the way your post progressed I thought...

My upgrades and does your ZS have these niggles?

Thanks, I'll get those UJ's looked at. There's a couple of scary videos of that failure around! It's a shame as a software update would go a long way to customer satisfaction. The car even appears to be able to check for updates OTA (not that it actually does)!

My upgrades and does your ZS have these niggles?

My upgrades and does your ZS have these niggles? I have done 10,000 miles now in my ZS EV Trophy LR (73 plate). It's the version without the sunroof. We recently drove it from the Midlands to Barcelona and back for the Spanish F1 GP in June and had a great time. In the months before going I...
