Usually do a calibration charge every couple of months. Have never done a battery disconnect before hand. Used to be able to make 2 days at work without charging in between. Range is low enough now that I have to charge every day (commute is over the beacons so only hitting 3.8/3.9m/kw)

68000 miles now. Commute is 85 miles round trip so lots of medium journeys. Recently bought the wife a Niro which is on 70000 miles and still reading 100%soh. (And believable with actual range)

Mine was at 88% and that was at 4th service. Will be due its 5th service in a couple thousand miles. I feel it’s dropped more. Rarely fast charged and charged to 80% with occasional balance charge. Pre facelift long range.

Boot space was why I picked the Kia e Niro instead of the kona. Very similar size to mg5 slightly smaller boot but bigger rear seat area.

Mines currently 3 yrs old and 65000 miles. Not missed a beat yet. Just tyres and servicing so far for costs.

That’s the plan for mine. Perfect car for my 80mile commute. Keep it doing that until it can’t I figure.

Many people bought the car through affinity so heavily discounted or benefited from bic so upto 40% off so this sets the start price value for many as many would buy the low price new over. Similar priced 2nd hand car.
