I couldn’t wait to stop driving this car

I can't believe that is the attitude of any manufacturers, unless they are cash strapped, particularly with the Chinese. Social media are so powerful nowadays that a barrage of niggles on a forum like this can very easily result in lost sales and no manufacturers can afford that. The problem for...

I couldn’t wait to stop driving this car

Ah, did you manage to get out of the Kuga before Ford stopped everybody from recharging them due to a fire risk? My son in law was not allowed to recharge his for six months, it cost him a fortune as a doctor running around on petrol when normally it cost him peanuts on electricity. The MG...

About to take the plunge and get the HS 2025 PHEV

I bought my mats from carmats4u.com with the optional orange piping round the edge to match the seat stitching. Really sets it off nicely. I do wish that I had gone for a higher quality version as the driver's mat is looking grubby due to my lifestyle. I went for the second of the four quality...

I couldn’t wait to stop driving this car

This is not something peculiar to this car or even MG. What Car magazine recently suffered an accident, as explained in the video link, apparently caused by modern technology forced on the manufacturers by legislation. My friend's VW Tiguan has also suffered false braking manoeuvres which have...

    Public Charging

Are you trying to sit in the car while it is charging? My car will not charge unless it is locked.

    Speed Recognition

Try following a continental bus on the motorway and watch it translate the 100kph sticker on the back of the bus to 100mph on your dash. My Insignia did the same in the middle of Bristol 😳

    Home wall chargers

I had a Hypervolt over the air software update last week and you can now set the lights to zero percent. They are obviously watching this forum. 😎

MG HS 2025 PHEV Trophy Edition tips

No issue fitting floor mats, just slot the holes in the mat over the part that turns, once you have lined them up, then once the mat is in place turn the "latch" through 90⁰ to lock the mats into place.

    More software glitches!

Are the radar or camera detectors covered in a layer of muck? After a couple of thousand miles unwashed I was experiencing spurious braking/non-braking incidents last weekend whilst in cruise control. These issues have cleared up following a good jet washing in the sunshine on Tuesday morning...

    Beam deflectors

This topic made me pop into Halfords this afternoon to check. The MG eHS manual says for continental driving "visit the dealer", but if the dealer changes any settings does that make your car illegal to drive to the UK port? Halfords sell beam deflectors that fit "any car", but the details of...

MG HS 2025 PHEV Trophy Edition tips

I would suggest reading through the topics on this forum first. Many tips are included here, but keep in mind that some of the older queries may no longer be an issue due to software updates. There are a number of topics covering member's preferred EV/HEV settings, etc, and it may be that you...

MG ehs - consumption not accurate

Mmm, whoops, let's have a third look at that 11 miles per kwh figure. I was in France when I wrote that and the dash read out was in metric. That figure was actually the trip, litres per 100km figure of running around Paris with no electric charging. Going back to my original post, the car is...

    Virtual pedal boot opening location

I've checked this morning and mine works when the car is locked and unlocked, but also suffering with a 90% success rate.

MG ehs - consumption not accurate

The 11 miles per kwh is definitely Milton Keynes city usage, 0 to 70mph and back again between each roundabout, London is much more economical. 😇
