Does the voice button on the left of the steering wheel have any use in an mg3 hybrid when: a) there is no phone in car. b) there is an iPhone but not connected in any way by USB thus ruling out Car Play. And, is the phone button on the other side just for answering/closing phone calls.

I’ve booked mine in and they said they would need at least 4 hours, so they’re giving me a courtesy car. Unfortunately it’s not until January, mainly because they can only do one a day and I’m away for two weeks over the festive period.

To be fair my Fiesta had a roof aerial. I’ve never had a car using rear window heater as an aerial.

I’ve always had good reception in other cars except in hilly areas.

When listening to DAB radio in my MG3 hybrid+, it keeps fading in and out or pausing and then resuming with an apparent rewind. I could understand if I was out in the wilds, but it occurs in urban areas where I would expect good reception.
