Cannot remember exact process, but recall reading you cannot connect to more than one device Connected mine to two phones and my tablet so good luck and keep trying More than happy with my MG4 ER

I bought the made up cable for around £20 on ebay and it works fine on my car

Try taking off the 12 volt battery terminals for a minute or so
