Definitely the MG5? I only ask because I know the ZS had some sort of issue with steering columns being replaced. Don’t think it was this same problem though.

Just to chime back in on this I was out yesterday only local and didn’t notice the problem at all. I guess possible that it is longer journeys and the tyres warming but I never noticed any issues in the summer when my tyre pressures were always around 2.4 or higher so really not sure.

I’m on some hankook something or other on the fronts. No issues whatsoever in the summer though, I’ve only noticed it really this week. It has been cold all week though so really not sure if that’s got anything to do with it along with tyre pressure perhaps

Just an update on this for anyone following. Car has been in today and they agree it’s coming from the evaporator. They weren’t overly concerned and want to try cleaning it first. I suspect this will be one of those cans of foam they put in through the drain port. I’ll let them try that first...

Car booked in start of April for MG to take a look I’ve attached some pics where you can see the powder in the vents. Worst in these side ones for the windows but does come out of all of them.

I’ve got an invoice that just states interim service but doesn’t detail what was done. Car will be 2 years old in April so I’ll put it into MG to be done. Will ask them to check these white bits too if it’s still doing it by then
