Happy to report that after several drives today the system is working as it should. I did not loose anything like the wifi passwords etc. the only thing I lost was the saved MGPilot setting.

Update: The MG dealership guys recommended to do a factory reset on the infotainment system. I tried that and seems to be working fine for now. However I will have to test it further tomorrow for longer to be absolutely sure.

I got mine back from the service station after the s/w update for another issue yesterday evening. And am facing the same sluggish infotainment issue. 360 camera turns on after 10 seconds of activating. Swiping the screen takes forever to respond.
