Glad you have it sorted. Even though I don't have mine. My app was still able to connect to it. Seems they have updated my old one too. The battery is now holding charge so I guess everyone should now get to the dealerships now for updates!
Mine was the same. Got it 22/06/25. Had it a week with battery draining. It was in the garage after that. They found the fault. Apparently part of the dashboard stays active even when the car is turned off. They said it was a software issue but the update never arrived. I got frustrated...
I think this is more than a software fix. I bailed out and rejected mine yesterday. Now looking for a new car. If yours is less that six months I would reject under Consumer Rights 2015. Something smells bad about this issue.
Same issue with mine. The dealer contacted MG and they have told them there is a batch with this issue. He said the fix is due 14th to 15th July. I have everything crossed it fixes the problem or I will also be rejecting it. Despite the dealer going pale when I mentioned it
You can keep it in EV and put your foot down more than usual and the engine will be forced to kick in to give you the full 303bhp. Then it goes back to EV. I have one of the star buttons set so I can switch without going to the screen. Battery should be OK as your only charging at a slow rate.
Same here. HS PHEV TROPHY. Picked up 22/6/2025. Back at dealer due to three flat batteries. Something is draining the battery when it's stood with ignition off. A faulty component no doubt.
