Well finally sorted , turned out to be a software issue with the battery management system. Car now seems to have improved acceleration which is a bonus as seemed a little sluggish before compared to the demo car I had driven before . ?

My MG4 sr has developed a fault , if the battery level drops below 50 percent the car goes into power limited-limiting speed mode and small tortoise symbol appears. I am then unable to use more than 1/4 acceleration and drive over 50mph . Has anyone else suffered this fault ? , I am waiting for...
