    Immediate Range Drop

I think it used to display 430km immediately after charging, but it dropped normally as you drove. The issue now is it shows 405 km after charging but within five or 10 km it drops to 335 km, after that the drop is in line with the driving distance. I was wondering if there is a problem with...

    Immediate Range Drop

Ny daughter’s MG4 SR is almost 2 years old, fully charged it reads 405km range, within 10km it drops to 335km range. Battery SoH is 92% and outside temperature 25°C (we’re in Thailand). Is this normal behaviour? It didn’t do this a year ago.

    Honda + Nissan

It’s desperation, they are both facing extinction. I agree with Carlos Ghosn’s analysis, there is no synergy, only similar products in similar markets and a complete lack of EV strategy. They are both going the way of Kodak. So are Mitsubishi and unless a change of strategy, in the...

Active Cruise & cornering, is this an issue?

On the MG4 it’s on the infotainment screen, but it resets to Off every time you start the car.

Active Cruise & cornering, is this an issue?

On the MG4 I prefer to set the speed limiter instead and just drive with a heavy right foot, it doesn’t slow down on bends that way.

Anybody in thailand can help me with ismart?

I couldn’t get it to work in Thailand without MG Call-Center intervention. The sales lady set it up for me.

Cyberster - what we know so far

I live in Thailand, generally cars are much more expensive here. 6 months ago I bought an MG4 to keep the miles off my Porsche Taycan Turbo as making regular long trips to see my daughters at university. Since then I have been preferring my MG4 daily over the Taycan. I sold the Taycan last...

    MG5 SR Headlights

3rd party LED’s are not the way to go, usually they have cooling fans and they will either fail or overheat when the heatsinks get dirty. A far better solution is Xenon HID bulbs, they don’t require coolng fans, probably fail MOT though just like LED’s

    MG5 in Thailand

I thought you might be interested to know about this car in Thailand. I am a retired UK citizen who retired to Thailand at age 50 some 15 years ago. Generally, cars are more expensive here, substantially so though the cost of living is massively cheaper. Thailand taxes new cars in 3 bands...

Can i take my Wallbox EV charger when i move home?

Always have a blue industrial 32 amp plug and socket inserted in the supply to your wallbox at the time of fitting, you can then unplug it and remove it. Have a 32amp socket fitted at your new house and just plug it in. Anything permanently wired is supposed to stay.
