I'm hoping there will be some deals going on the new MGS5 in about a years time when I'll be changing my MG ZS EV. So many good options around at the moment, I'm trying to get a test drive in a Changan Deepal S07 at the moment just to see what they're like.

I tried those OBD adapters & bought another one on my 2023 trophy SR ZS with no luck, something to do with PID files being missing or something, still haven't sussed it out yet, 😧 I had no problem connecting up my Gen 1 ZS excite model with one off Aliexpress for a couple of quid.

What I find strange is the timing of this e-VED taxation. It's scheduled to start in 2028 which will be election year if I'm not mistaken. There will be around 1.5 million BEV/PHEV owners at that time who will most likely vote against the party that brought in this double taxation.

I've had a 2020 ZSEV Excite model & currently in a 2023 ZSEV Trophy SR, the only trouble I've encountered was a dead 12V battery in the latter which needed replacing. They are a lovely car to drive IMO.
