The support beam cost about £4 from an MG dealer and took a few minutes to replace, which with a minimum labour charge of one hour cost £154 plus VAT. The traction battery is the big battery under the car that powers the motor to make the car go.

Don’t think it matters but I use this one. It turns itself off after a short time so can be left plugged in without draining the 12V battery. Vgate icar 2

It’s 4 years old and gets balanced every 4-6 weeks. Local dealer reckons it’s as expected after 4 years, but it seems to have dropped fairly quickly since October when it was 92%.
