    MG 4 EV tow bar and electrics

    Hi all, I want to replace my Nissan Micra with an MG 4 EV to tow my garden trailer, but can't find any for sale that are equipped with the tow bar and electrics. The car will only be used as a runabout as we have a petrol Karoq for long journeys. Any suggestions?

    The towbar is not the problem, it's the loom. Looms are available with the required LED/incandescent adaptor BUT as it won't be OEM there will be warranty problems as you are cutting into the car's loom. It seems to me that we all need to badger our MG4 EV dealer to let MG know there is a demand...

    Witter offer a tow bar. The wiring loom is not yet available! The MG has LED lights which draw very little current. Most trailers have incandescent bulbs which draw more current, so an adaptor is required to provide 2 Amps at 12v for brake lights and a little less for side and indicator bulbs...
