I have all the cards, just problems with connection even before charging. The Evie at Bundamba and Petbarn McGregor has issues with connection.

Do any of you put the car off completely before charging at a DC fast charger? I.e arrive at a DC charger (car still on) go and plug in and start charging? The manual says to shut down the car wait 10 secs then commence charging.

My Volkswagen golf spacesaver arrived from SA to Brisbane, hopefully it will fit my car, will have to take it to a tyre shop to get them to install it to the car to see if it fits properly.

What are all your steps do commence DC charging? Do you come to the DC charger, hop out of the car, lock the car, then unlock the car, press the flap to open it, then plug the DC cable into the car and then start charging ?

Yes I am now in two minds going to the wrecker as I read the full size spare may just fit in the back but then where is the room for the luggage on a long road trip ?
