This is a 3 month old Polestar written off by the insurers. I can't imagine that the insurers will not sell it on to fred in a shed to put back on the road.

So does the vehicle have a "proper" inverter between the battery and the connector? In other words does it generate a nice clean sine wave? When I connect a petrol generator to my house electrics, many of the house LEDs flicker. Obviously a very dirty voltage there.
Just bought an MG4. I struggle to connect to it when it is parked on my drive (especially when the weather is bad). I happen to know that Vodafone and O2 are total crap in my rural location, so I suspect that MG sims are fixed to one of them.
