Solved. A long set up - now I have 3 containers (MQTT broker, siac-python-gateway, home-assistant) all talking to each other. Everything is working again.

Annoyingly I'm running a Container (docker) so the addon won't work out of the box. That's irritating.

Sounds like the service date/mileage wasn’t reset. You can do it in the engineering menu yourself

Has anyone had any issues with this recently? I set it up yesterday and it was working fine, then overnight it won’t connect anymore. I set up a 3rd account snd switched to that but same issue.

I’ve just set up MG-SIAC in Home Assistant for tracking the car, but found the API has banned my second account again. What polling limit do you have set up for talking to their API?

With mine: You put the car into drive, put your seatbelt on (it goes back into park otherwise) and then you can drive.

Interesting that your external buttons work ok. Yesterday I came back to the car and the passenger side button didn’t press as it was frozen solid and wasn’t recognised. I had to press really hard and then I thought I’d broken it. I had to use the key in the end to open that door.
