This may seem like an silly suggestion but have you checked that the charge timer is off and that you aren't trying to charge outside of the hours set if it is on.
I am not saying that you do not have the V2L function because of the battery chemistry on the standard range model, only that the charge level setting screen does not work, it only works on the LR models. I too do not have a panoramic sunroof on my 2023 Trophy Connect but it doesn't bother me.
I wouldn't assume that because there is a screen with a function such as "discharge level" that it is available. My standard range has a screen that you can set the charging level but it doesn't work because that model does not need it because of a different battery chemistry, but its still there!
Hi Anthony
I didn't purchase my ZSEV new. It was registered in September 2023. Module installed and the V2L function now works. I ordered my adapter from an eBay seller (pejos-98) who specified that I order a 2024 version or it wouldn't work. Unfortunately Eden MG of Swindon did not supply a...
My Leaf will fast charge at 6.6 kW which I assume means the wall box has a 32 amp cable. When I plug in my MG it takes 25 hours to charge fully which is a slow charge. When I had the charge point installed 10 years ago I paid a fee to have it upgraded to provide a 7kW charge as it was free to...
My ZS EV will not fast charge using my now quite old charge point at 7kW. It works fine with my Nissan Leaf which is is fitted with a 6.6 kW charger but not when I use it with my ZS EV. I am using a Mennekes Type 1 to Type 2 adaptor. Anyone know why?
Due to a chip shortage Before you buy an adaptor I suggest that you get confirmation from your MG dealer that your specific vehicle has the capability to deliver V2L. Due to a chip shortage many vehicles including my 2023 ZSEV are not and MG have had to supply a replacement module to enable...
All I can tell you is that when I contacted an ebay seller about purchasing a V2L adaptor he told not to purchase one as my vehicle (2023 model) was faulty. I then asked my local MG Dealer to check this and they then ordered a replacement module from SAIC and told me that due to a chip shortage...
My 2023 MGZSEV has the same issue. MG have confirmed that the issue is with the module. The reason being a chip shortage which did not enable this V2L function. SAIC are sending a replacement the module. They have not issued a recall or even told their dealers
