I have 19 solar panels, 19 optimisers (partial shading from trees), 7.5kwp plus 2 x 3kwh inverters (1 for each string), 6.5kwh battery and I had a zappi fitted at the same time. So, much more expensive than a normal install. It cost alot but considerably less than my ev, which has NO payback...

I have 6.5KWh battery, I have 7.5KW of solar but only a 6kw inverter. I have had my G98(?) updated so that I can export up to 5KW. I only drive about 8000 miles a year so only have to charge my EV about 6-8 times a month. Each 3 hour charge puts about 75 miles on the car.

This worked perfectly for me. No factory reset, just turned off Auto set date, select my UTC, scan QR code and I connected first time. Then turn back on Auto set date, finished. Thanks for the advice

You're correct, I only export if battery is full or I'm generating more than the battery can charge (3.3 kw). My battery isn't big enough to last the night so a night time topup would get me through. I was also thinking about a battery top up just before the peak time if it's not full.
