    Battery Failure and Repair History

I guess if they gave you a loan car, then you might find compensation tricky. I have said many times and not had much support on this site that we need to be protected by law when buying cars. Whilst the car is in the manufacturers warranty period or 3 years whichever comes sooner, there should...

    Battery Failure and Repair History

I used to own a BMWi3, trust me it's no better. There needs to be changes to the law, it's the only way.

Why aren’t MG UK listening to our concerns

I'm unusually lucky or something...I should perhaps enter the lottery. Any problem I have ever reported to a large corporate company about their products.....I am always the first and only person, to ever experience such a problem.

    Windscreen wiper obstructed by bonnet

Me too, in other countries, and certain train types in the UK. It's amazing that the country puts up with the substandard service we get from our rail networks...sack em all I say.

    MG4 keeps aborting AC charge

I had the same problem with mine 1 year ago...the dealerships normally like to waste your time and assume it's your charger. Fortunately I had a neighbour with an MG4 EV long range. My Charger was a Rolec, his was an Ohm. The symptoms started innocuously enough with me thinking sometimes I may...

    Windscreen wiper obstructed by bonnet

I read comments like this, think of what the train drivers and other staff are paid, how much rail fares are and am in wonderment that we don't have self driving trains already. It's a lot easier than a self driving car!!

    Changing light bulbs

Just sometimes (too often), the manufacturers are too clever for their own good.....An easily replaceable LED lamp unit here would have been a sensible decision, cost a customer less than £5 and a few minutes time. Instead, if it's not under warranty, this could be costing £50 or more plus the...

    ACC and TJA hard braking

The fact that there is no clarity of what updates there are, versions and fixes is just BS and hides the fact that the hardware in some cars may simply not be right!

    Insane Wait Times (UK Dealerships)

Try Palmers Hemel Hempstead. I used that one because my disgrace of a local dealer Richmond in Slyfield Guildford about 9 miles from me had ridiculous wait times.. Palmers nearly 40 miles away were good.

    MG4, not a good car.

    The costs would be insignificant

    Highest Efficiency Number You’ve Seen?

In the summer I have managed around 5.3 between charges. This was the end average after 275 miles. The transitory figures are irrelevant.

    MG4, not a good car.

I thought about all this long and hard and I am pretty sure this isn't correct. My reasoning is, I want my car to stay in speed limit mode but it won't. It's a legal requirement for cars in Europe to start in this mode and you have to manually disable it each time. So that doesn't seem to fit...

    MG4, not a good car.

For my part, I like the car, but would like to kick the software designer/s who felt it was fantastic not to have the car remember how it's set up and boot like that each time you turn it on. I suspect they all rode bicycles.

Richmond Guildford - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

You can use your service plan with any MG dealership. I registered mine with Richmond, but used it at Palmers (Hemel Hempstead), no problem.

Richmond Guildford - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

Richmond MG on the Guildford Slyfield estate are very poor indeed. You can't get through to the service department, they gave me ridiculous lead times of over 3 months for a 1st service (diagnostics were even longer), which meant my warranty would have been toast, don't return calls. It's less...
