    MG4 in Australia

I just had my 2 year service.. I asked for software update for AEB as I knew it is old (Does not save low setting) and hard braked a few times. They did the underbody tray and service said no time for software have to book another day. Also said the AEB module only one out of date. Where I knew...

V2G to be approved in Australia 2025

I looking at either a 24kWh, 32kwWh or 40kWh battery. Difference between 24-40kWh is around AU$4800. Which does not sound much compare to a DC Charger around $6-$7k. I currently have 3 hours free I charge and 3 EV's with 180kWh; I'd like to tap into that if it's worth it. I just crunched...

V2G to be approved in Australia 2025

Just got a couple of quotes in around AU$2400 for 8kW. So yes $7k is 24kWh of dedicated battery. Yes I'd love to use 180kWh of EV although honestly my peak prob 30kWh a day, take out the charging I do in free 3 hours..

V2G to be approved in Australia 2025

Depends on price of the V2G device. Here in OZ we have heaps of Solar during the day and spot electricity prices are negative often. I get 3 hours free 11am-2pm when I charge, although pay 4 cents extra per kWh for the other 21 hours. Lots of people getting batteries now; a few cheap batteries...

    MG4 in Australia

Silly you think it be the MG2, although it called MG4 in China. The one we have in OZ (UK, Europe) does not sell well in China they replaced it. I think all cars in China need to have the same blob shape, be front wheel drive and have a big screen to sell :)

    MG4 in Australia

I have the 64kWh NMC for MG4 and two LFP Teslas. The Tesla BMS is not great unless you go to 100%. Even scan tools it show battery is 1-2kWh less then it is if you do not charge to 100% often.. Or do a big run and a full charge. Whereas my mate's NMC is solid no matter what charge. So if you...

    MG4 in Australia

Be great to know what updates for OZ, entertainment I think Excite R05 and others R11. I know mine has different AEB than others as it defaults to medium each drive and does not take low. Due 1st service next month. Also went to the EV show the other week the hatch opened with not much effort...
