Same problem on MG4 trophy (20k miles), rubbish trim, thinking of replacing with new set of alloys, but cost could prevent this, any pointers where I could get a set?

There is no service booklet, all the servicing stuff is held centrally by MG, pretty poor really, so when you get your car serviced ensure you get a full invoice for the work to keep if you need to sell at some point.

The first few months were a mare, but since all has been good. Charging good, tyres still good after 19k. Main moan is the infotainment and the fact that the sound keep going quiet and I have to hit the speak button twice to get it back and the LKA. Oh and the automatic lights that seem to come...

I get this all the time, all I do is hit the speak button on the steering wheel, then it says 'how can i help', then hit the button again and the volume comes up again to normal, bit of a pain but it works

But really why would you want to drive the car without the seatbelt on?????

Nice Lawn, but back on message, has anyone had this is fixed under warranty, or, are there alternatives to the stock ones as the new ones will also fail in a year or two? Are there any other alternatives: aero alloys, replacement hubs etc?

The whole Drive centralised phone system and the MG centralised mafia system is not worth the bother, I'm sure some would say that is not what I should be doing but life is too short!!

So I have tried to get the wheels inspected for delamination and Drive stated that they will need to do a report and send it to MG to confirm it is warranty work, if it is it will be coved under warranty, if not then I would have to pay for the report (about £130), considering the inserts are...

I saw the last one and was not overly impressed, the budget cars were all too expensive, I just found that it was quite shallow and like above did not cover UpToDate cars. Shame as it could have been so much better, will watch again (sucker for punishment) but not getting too excited

I've tried the TJA a few times, I'd be concerned that the TJA would put you in the hedge or in front of oncoming traffic, it does work..... sometimes, keep your hand on or near the steering, I just rest a finger on the bottom that seems to work ok-ish.

I'm not really taking about the dealers, but the motor manufacturer, i.e. some of the smaller companies that don't make the cut. I have already had the dealer stop and did in fact change dealers.

So I have been listening to general stuff on the internet, and I was wondering what would happen if you bought a new car with all the bells and whistles on, connected to a company server and that company went bust, is there any protection for this or is it tough you have a brick buy another one!!!!!
