The spoiler is the same size on Trophy and SE it's just that the Trophy has the disco lights built in and the camera simply hangs out underneath the same as the SE aftermarket example. They are the same fitting points for both, just two more cables to unclip on the Trophy.
But it doesn't matter...
From my fitting of a SE reversing camera, removing the rear spoiler is very straight forward, with the tailgate open, the trim on the underside is one piece and comes off on clips when the handhold and lock trim pieces have been removed. Then the spoiler has a row of 9? small 8mm? bolts from...
You don't want to buy the rear lights, our dealer quoted £385 each supplied as a part and that will be plus VAT and then fitting, so well over £500 for what is the shonkyest plastic on the car. Bit off topic I know as this wasn't due to stress cracks, but a concrete post that drove into the back...
Ian, absolutely correct, it has it's limitations, that's why I described it as working reasonably well ;).
But it works well enough most of the time. Once a week I undertake a 300 mile round trip and there are different parts of the journey that suit the different driver assistance modes.
When...
No, I was referring to one further enhancement beyond the standard speed limiter. Setting the speed limiter to intelligent will set the 'limit' by reading the road speed signs as you pass them.
No, not cruise, with speed limiter you are required to press the accelerator as normal to control the cars speed, but you cannot accelerate beyond the pre set speed, if you do by reducing the pre set for example the car will start to bong until the speed reduces.
Second tab on the infotainment (is that MG Pilot?), speed limiter is at the top, activate with the middle left steering wheel button, toggle the speed up and down with the left steering wheel joystick. Go one further and set the speed limiter to intelligent and it'll change the limited speed by...
Stuart, my saga ran for a while but in the end AG Marsh Barton in Exeter sorted the recalibration after all local dealers couldn't.
I'd walk into the branch your booked at and ask if they are able. Someone in a call centre will tell you of course they can do it.
I have to say, after screen...
There is a video of how to pull out and then replace a fuse in post #26 of this thread. It's a little way down the second page of posts.
The charge port lights will almost certainly come back to life.
Good luck ?
@FlyingDutchman have you now overcome the periodic failure of the charge port lights by means of a software update or component replacement by your MG dealer?
Last time (third time) mine failed I left them not working as my second service was due and I wanted the dealership to witness it and...
When I purchased last year I think there was three options at the time, I stupidly didn't spot this and ended up with a box and no camera, it was simply fixed but buying with the camera has that extra reassurance.
You are not making any amendments to the wiring of the car that cannot be...
