    MG4 Windows dropping?

It had happen to me a couple of times (both times it was the rear right window) in the early days but I have been paying closer attention when exiting the vehicle and it hasn't happened since. I'm now fairly sure it was my user error and not some random bug.

I thought the same but when I mentioned it here people assured me it was not in the old app either. Not too sure what to believe now 🤷‍♂️

Help with 22kW "charger", cable etc

You guys are correct, my bad. 22 kW is 32 amps per phase. It's the 11kW chargers that are 16 amps per phase.

Help with 22kW "charger", cable etc

I believe that in EU, all other specs than the most plain one support up to 11kW charging on AC (3 phase 16A). In the UK for some weird reason, the car is only supplied with a 1-phase converter and can therefore only support up to 7kW. Keep in mind that a typical 22kW charger is a 3-phase...

Just to be thorough, are you really sure? Because the only scenario where I can recreate that the button is greyed out is when I do not tick the tiny box to agree with the terms, which is neatly hidden under your phone's keyboard when you just typed in your email or password.

Honestly, it has probably nothing to do with the new app. It's just that with the old app you never had to re authenticate your account, so chances are you forgot your details. If you say "won't let me log in" what exactly is happening? Do you get an error message and what does it say? Probably...

Good point, I revised my 1 star review.

Are you even driving an MG4? Your profile says it's a ZS. I am willing to listen to experience when it would make sense to me on a technical level. For now, I have no idea why you'd want to me measure the current going out of my 12v battery. I'd like to understand the trick, not look at one...

Oh no it's not in the app. It's a setting in the car itself. The post below shows a screenshot: MG4 Intelligent battery heating on SE?

Have you tried turning off the intelligent battery heater? This is not in the app but if you click on the battery status in the car itself. I think it's a toggle option somewhere quite hidden, possibly on the scheduled charging tab.

You sound quite sure of yourself but my experience is quite different. When the intelligent battery heater is turned on, my range is about 40% less! The battery heating draws so much power that it negates any benefit in "transferring power more efficiently" - and in my experience, by miles. In...

You shouldn't have to bind the car, that's for new cars / accounts. Is there an option to just login using your email or phone number? After logging in, the car should already be bound to your account. If it isn't, chances are you're using the wrong account. Try logging in with your emailadres...

MG iSmart 2.0 features & usage thread [no moaning in here please!]

The only thing I could find was the ability to replace the pincode with a biometric option like face-id on apple phones and finger-print on android. Apart from that, the V2.0.1 app doesn't really have new features, it's just that everything that was available before is now slightly rearranged.

I logged in a little over two hours ago, and the app hasn't reset my token yet. There is hope!

Make sure you log in with the correct account. As siteguru already said, the vehicle is bound to an account not to the app itself. When started, some people might've made two accounts, one bound to a phone number, the other to e-mail and then bound the car to one of them. Now that you had to...
