Thanks very much for your answers guys. This is a bit awkward to check especially if I need to be sitting in the car, but I didn’t think the DRLs were coming on as a matter of course during the daytime. I seem to have to turn them on manually (unless they’re set to ‘Auto’ and it’s dark), which...

I’d like to be able to turn the lights (at least the daytime running lights) on manually, but set them to turn off automatically when I lock the car. Is this possible?
