    Amazon music - can’t login.

Mirrorlink, unlike AA and AC was rarely used by the majority. If AA or AC was taken they would be outrage

    LKA useful or a hindrance

MG do have a physical button for LKA on the HS (Maybe MG5 gen1 too) on the end of the stalk. They have gone backwards in this world of everything controlled via a screen nonsense

    Heat Pumps

Mitsubishi makes some radiators (i-life2 slim) that are able to be used as air conditioners - They have a condense line. i guess they are air-water-air. Valliant has a controller that takes humidity and temperature measurements to calculate the dew point, then runs the flow temp just above that...

    Heat Pumps

I was really started to get a bit concerned that nobody has picked up on the main issue with heat pumps in this thread, until i finally saw this: Gadget Geek finally had the answer Most of the people installing these see it as a money machine and not as a heating system thats keeping someone...

Hill/handbrake assist. Is there any point in the electric handbrake button?

It's worth noting that the EPC is also the emergency brake - holding it up will apply the handbrake.. well at least it does on other MG models. The being said, dual hydraulic brake system failure is extremely rare. Edit, just checked the MG4 manual, it does say this on page 192

MG HS exclusive no power juddering

This forum is for the PHEV version of the hs, there will not be many petrol owners here. I suggest posting on the MG HS facebook page which has a much larger community of petrol HS owners and may be able to advise you.

getting air flow into the cabin without the fan operating?

The fan would use max ~300w on its own - I suggest you are also using the heating and/or air conditioning To use just the fan, set the temperature to low, make sure air con is disabled and that should be just the fan. RAM air is automatically active is MG cars when the climate is turned off...

    "fogging" of front windshield

Hi, The issue is to do with the leather part of the dashboard; In hot weather, it offgasses chemicles that end up on the windscreen. Some have used dashboard covers that the claim solves this problem, however i stick to a occasionally using window wipes or microfibre + autoglym fastglass...

HS PHEV - the good, the bad and the ugly

Spot on, gets way bouncy sometimes, but without expensive and prone to failure electronic variable dampers i don't know how the refined motorway driving could be maintained while solving this. People are saying 40 mpg like its bad?? Id love to hear of any medium-large petrol/hybrid SUV that...

    Speakers!?

Rear speakers are definitely just for the rear passengers - They make the sounds for all occupants more rich and surrounding Mg has been at this a long time, as far as i'm aware, on all of their current models they do it.

    Cant open petrol cap

The MG HS has a DC-DC converter and can charge the 12v with the HV battery. This is easy to test, While moving your seat forwards/backwards, power up the vehicle. You will notice the seat moves faster as the DC-DC converter turns on. Your 12V battery low is more likely to do with the vehicle...

    Cant open petrol cap

No, it's so air does not mix with the ethanol in the fuel causing water to get in the fuel. This is done as many can use the phev without touching the ICE for months at a time.

    Hs PHEV insurance premiums

MG HS PHEV is a great car; more luxurious than the ZS and more comfortable. Proving you can charge it every night on cheep leccy, it will do you well in summer, but will cost more in winter due to the silly engine/heat arrangements.
