I have same model and the mileage you are getting is right. Most I have managed on a full charge in winter is 222. In summer I have achieved up to 320 with sensible driving manner.
I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how to remove damaged rear boot spoiler on mg4 EV long range 2023 model. I have replacement to put on,but can’t find instructions on removing damaged one.
Incidentally it was over 200 miles. I drove from Aberdeen to Glasgow and back never going above 40 mph, much to the annoyance of quite a few motorists. It was really experimental and I was chuffed with the result. It showed me what can be achieved.
You just have to trust as it was during the summer. Unlikely to get anything near that during the winter, but when warmer weather comes again I’ll repeat it and provide picture to any skeptics.
With careful driving and observing all obstacles on the roads with my mg4 long range I was able to achieve 5.7 miles per kWh, giving me well over 320 miles of range. It all depends on the way you drive.
As an MG4 owner, if you use rapid charger do not allow above 80 percent most times. You can charge to 100 percent now and again, but to keep battery happy keep to 80.
Enjoy your car.
My MG4 will be 2 years old come March 2025 and apart from a faulty ccu at the beginning the car has been a joy to me. It is cheap to run. I charge up at home for approximately 1 weeks motoring for £4. Servicing is a 5th of an ice car. Yes there are teething trouble but all cars have that.

Can anyone help me here. I have an MG4 ev long range 2023 model and my rear licence plate light has gone out. I can’t find any instructions on how to change or what kind of bulb I need. Any suggestions would be helpful.
I went to use 22kW at Tesco while shopping. When I returned and disconnected I drove home. On checking my bank account my pod point account was minus £334 odds as I had used 999 kWh maximum. Obviously a mistake which pod point very quickly sorted out. The moral of course is to keep checking...
Has any owners of MG4 long range had charging problems. My car won’t charge on granny charger or any type 2, but only on a rapid charger. Having spent near £900 having home charger installed I am having to use a rapid charger at 79p per kWh. I would really appreciate any comments or suggestion.
Experimenting with my driving over a week or so in my mg4 long range I have attained 319 miles from a full charge. It can be achieved by very careful driving
I can honestly say with one exception my 1 year old MG4 is one of the best cars I have owned. With very careful driving I am getting 315 miles of range with 100 per cent charge. Singular issue is faulty on board charger which means I can’t charge at home. Just waiting call from Dealership to say...
