I find that if I press the button for 2 seconds, Android Auto beeps, asking for a question. I say "Send SMS to wife". It acknowledges, and then asks what I want to say. After that it ignores me. Any ideas?
I've had mine since October, have travelled 3500 miles without any issue. It's not the build quality of a Japanese or Korean car, but still good.
Charging wise, I'm yet to charge mine at a pay charger. Get yourself a home charger (I've got a Podpoint) a tariff like the British Gas one gives you...
Is it just me? There's an obvious button to turn on the windscreen demister, but turning it off appears to require you to go through a series of menus to get there, or voice command "turn climate control off".
Am I missing something?
Also, does the MG ZS EV LR have traction control? I seem to...
I find the scheduling by the car is the best with my Podpoint, but I know others on this forum have differing opinions.
You don't think it's worth investing in a charger, to get the job done quicker? Or if you suddenly need a full charge to drive a longer distance?
Q1 and Q4 are completely related. I find that having any more than the driver in the car, I have to have the climate control switched on, and certainly not in ECO mode. I had the same condensation issues initially, generally because I was tight, and had everything off to maximise the miles per...
You misunderstood me. Nothing about the image of the car. I've not driven any other EVs, so can't compare, but compared to my previous petrol Hyundai Tucson, and before that a diesel Mazda CX5, it feels a lot less sturdy. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
I charge at home only, due to never doing journeys over 200 miles there and back, and so benefit significantly from the savings vs my old petrol Hyundai Tucson.
Despite the improved acceleration as well, I have to agree with KJI a little, there's something about the ZS that doesn't quite tick...
Push forward to disengage and pull forward to resume in the Gen2.
If this is common on the Gen2, it makes you wonder if that's what Scottish guy experienced, and then blew it out of proportion. I suppose if you coincidentally had brake failure, and didn't know the car...
Oh. That's weird behavior. Okay, thanks. Will keep an eye on it next time. I also had refusal from the car to turn on the ACC the other day, with a red warning triangle and exclamation mark. Is this another glitch? Or a problem?
I maybe wrong, but aren't you talking about getting the ACC to re-engage when there's a car in front moving on in slow traffic, whereas my issue is that I'm driving along at 70mph, and the ACC won't disengage. I.e. it continues on at 70mph, no sign of it slowing down.
