I've had my 75 plate MG4 Trophy LR since Nov 25. Its super, no issues at all. Highly recommend. It a Yorkshire kind of car. A car with nowt farted about with.
Not turning off the a/c. I had a a/c compressor fail on the Mokka-e. It meant using the car at all, made it super easy to cook the battery. Since the a/c cooled that too. Luckily I'd had the KGS software recall and a failing a/c didn't brick the car. So no Ive zero intent on switching the a/c of.
Really? cos Im getting 220 miles in winter now, and I'm expecting 250+ in summer.
Which is a lot more than I got with my 50kWh Mokka-e. 140 in winter 185 in summer. Not too far off the WLTP of 201.
My commute us almost identical to the OPs. I got my MG4 Trophy LR in Late November. So its been cold ever since I have owned it.
However I've driven EVs since 2021. Sooooo I run it in ECO and A regeneration setting. Keep to 65mph and try to drive as smoothly as possible, anticipation etc...
I just bought a cheapo Wireless Carplay Android Auto adapter. Twenty quid ( a certain online jungle based store) has them from ten quid up. No cables faffing about and my Sammy S25Ultra connects to it like a champ. Music and Waze now run flawlessly whilst the phone is either in my pocket or...
Showing my car to my wife's friend. She sat on the front edge of the seat. Nothing. Turns out that's how she sits in her car. I suggested she sit back in the seat, voila it lit up!
My MG4 Trophy LR is three weeks old. Came with R33 and I think I recall seeing SCO77 in amongst the blurb somewhere. It's leased from Octopus so I'm not changing anything. Works OK.

On my 25 MG4 Trophy LR I have the frozen map issue. It starts OK but in a few moments it sticks. I read that it was using some "Dead Reckoning mode" if GPS signal is intermittent and turning this off helps. How do you do this?
As it stands it's unusable and I'm relying on Android Auto and...
Having been driving an early Mokka-e 50kWh with 180 miles reliable range for four years. The Trophy LR range is plenty for me. Performance, I drive in old man mode. anyway, it's entirely adequate. ER perhaps in the future but very much a want not a need for me.
Well the Mokka-e has mild regen all the time it also has a bit less mild regen - the B button. Overall pretty weak though, our Fiat500e in Range mode had far more. But still careful use of the B button did make a difference. I may leave it in adaptive.
