An ICE will never reach operating temperature in 3 miles, the consequence of which is that all the water condensation can not evaporate. Same with fuel - since the ICE is mostly in warm-up mode, rich fuel air mixture is necessary, and aggravates the higher propensity of sticking to the cylinder...

There is of course nothing worse for an ICE to run it twice a day for 3 miles, for a duration of 4 to 6 months.........the sump will be filled with 90% fuel/water mixture and 10% oil.

Stands to reason that this shift delay can be adjusted based on some videos on YT that do not show this slow shift. A few more of these kind of misstep and MG will fade to the back row, with new competition starting to crowed the market, why bother with this kind product shortcomings........?
