My Trophy 2022 (without driver awareness camera) always starts up on the HVAC screen, I can't remember if it did this before the software was updated to what I call the "my first HVAC screen" rather than the more graphical but admittedly harder to use original HVAC screen

It sounds like the camera in the rear view mirror housing facing out of the windscreen is misting up. The camera housing isn't sealed to the windscreen, so in high humidity or with temperature differences while the rest of the windscreen clears with aircon or de-mist, it creates it own little...

@MattyS. Perhaps not as rare as you'd imagine. Four instances of my MG 4 parked up with a partner either by choice or necessity, admittedly not two oranges.

I believe it's only something they can do if it's failing at that stage. The user has no visibility of the vehicle communications to the MG servers.

It sounds like while your iSmart app on your phone is talking to the MG servers, the vehicle isn't if it comes up with this message before you are scanning the QR code to verify through the iSmart app.
