As an experienced EV owner, and battery electric specialist, there is truth in most of the posts here. If you absolutely want the best battery health in 6/10 years from now , then a regime of 20-80% AC charging is ideal. If you are a normal user then accept the few % degradation in 8 years time...

Charging using any AC ie not Rapid, charger is fine, Granny, home or destination chargers will all balance the cells. Each balance may take some hours so just leave on , and use it a bit the next day.

It was a couple of years back, one of our UK Leaf Owners FB page members had a black Leaf snatched off the drive, believed to be a key boost theft. Never seen again.

Nope , it is a limited ready mode where the traction controls are locked out but does 12V battery charging and does not time out. For full ready mode it cannot be plugged in , as the charge sensing locks out the car controls.

Does not engage HV battery but does charge 12V battery and locks out steering and traction controls.

This is not ready mode but accessory mode with displays and radio, turns off after 15 mins and does not charge 12V battery.

Same as usual , foot on brake and press button, the car will turn on , but lock out steering and traction controls. Will maintain the 12V battery and not turn off after 15 mins.

Did you not read the OP post about it being a Landlord thing not a him thing?

I have been putting EV's into Ready Mode forever, you just get a warning that you are plugged in and the steering won't work, locks all traction controls.
