    Full Size Spare Wheel

I did take it with a large pinch of salt!

    Warning when reversing

I was at B&Q last week and noticed there was some broken glass (wing mirror) in the space beside mine. When I was reversing out of the space there was a red light beside the rear wheel (on the side where the glass was). I though it might have been a tyre pressure warning - that I'd got a...

    Full Size Spare Wheel

When I picked up my MG4 the rep told me they don't provide a spare because of the extra weight of the car because of the batteries. Apparently standard alloy wheels aren't strong enough to cope with the weight and instant torque from electric cars. Might be a load of nonsense though!

    Collected yesterday

Thanks Grriff - I had read your guide and thought I knew what I was doing but clearly there's a gap between reading and understanding that I need to work on!;)

    Collected yesterday

A few days in and I'm still enjoying the car - really easy to drive, the power delivery is just so smooth and just keeps going! That will take me a bit of getting used to - I'm still in the 'oh ****!' phase when I put my foot down, but I wouldn't have got this one if I didn't want a thrill every...

    Collected yesterday

I only looked at the undertray because of the various posts on here (and other places) about it. I'm not bothered about it but wanted to flag it to the dealer on the offchance something goes wrong at a later date. I certainly intend to enjoy the car and picked the XPower for the craic - purely...

    Collected yesterday

The weather was awful when I picked it up - cold and raining. Hopefully we get a bit of sunny weather! At least we've got heated seats and steering wheel until then!

    Collected yesterday

I got a reply from the Dealer about the undertray: I forwarded your email to our servicing team and our technician looked at your images. The technician has assured me that this is how the MG4's are designed and how the undertray should look.

Siteguru - I think the 2.1 miles/kWh is definitely related to the 'hoon factor'! I'll enjoy the car for a few days and then work on trying to get into the '3s' for that. Grriff- Thanks for the Guide, it'll definitely help getting it set up the way I want it

    Collected yesterday

Collected my Green Xpower yesterday, so far so good. No vibrations at motorway speed, all the panels seem to be lined up. There was a bit of condensation in the back light panel but it has gone this morning. There is a bit of a gap on the undertray - I've emailed the dealer to flag that. It...

    MG4 X-Power Orders & Delivery

Well - I got the call today. My car is with the dealer & will be ready for collection on Wed, great timing as the guy is coming back to complete the charger installation on Monday. I'm actually considering booking the day off work so I can take some time and 'get used to the new car'!

    MG4 X-Power Orders & Delivery

My own meter box is inside the house and above the front door. The meter and fuses are all in the same 'box'. It's an old house (1905) and nothing has been changed since I moved in 20 years ago! Hopefully the picture is attached and you can see what I mean

    MG4 X-Power Orders & Delivery

Yes! I'm getting a Podpoint a part of the lease deal - when I booked the install they asked for photos of the meterbox, physical location, where I wanted the charger - all of that. The installer came today and didn't seem to have any of that - he said he's the only Podpoint engineer in Northern...

    MG4 X-Power Orders & Delivery

Well the installer was out today and it didn't go well. Apparently my meter box is too small to take the additional gubbins for the charger. I'm now going to have to get a new meter box and arrange for a revisit. At least he was able to fix the charger to the wall. Surely I'm not the only one...
