Thanks I will get mine modified I have bought a similar product for the MG zs. I have read on the forum that the resistance required for it to work is a 470 ohm between the pp and pe lines... ie pp to earth. The resistance measured on the one I received is 1kohm. I haven't tested it yet but...

Did you get this working as I have just bought one with a 1k resistor so assume that it will not work with that value fitted HIya I have just purchased a similar device. Did you get yours to work after changing the resistor?

Interesting point..... I wonder what the significance is of the address in Brussels?.... Could it be the software developers address?

I have seen the car show the centre of Brussels as its location. This seems to occurreif it hasn't got a good GPS signal. Usually fixes itself after a few seconds when a good GPS fix is found. Maybe your problem is the GPS receiver fun tion?

Have disabled the MG voice system by not allowing the permission setting and hey presto Google now works when driving with android auto... Thank you ??

Thanks for showing that... I hadn't tried scrolling up the icons on the rhs of the screen!!... ?.... I shall have a play tomorrow and hopefully solve the Google problem ?

There is no 'system' page there is user, vehicle, and settings and none of these have a factory reset or, hello MG off selection.

Unfortunately the mgZs eV trophy does not have a factory reset in settings or a hello MG off switch anywhere as far as I can see

Hi all I am also having this problem of voice control not working with google when moving. I am probably missing something here but where is the setting to switch off the 'Hello MG' function?

Unfortunately I cannot find a setting to turn off hello MG on the zs eV trophy connect so there must be some differences in the mg4 settings pages

Does your Zs eV allow voice controlled phone calls while moving?.... My new ZS eV will only allow Google voice control when stationary. This problem has been flagged up also on the MG 4 forum It seems to be an AA issue I think
