Try different cables. Even though your existing cable works elsewhere, unfortunately that's no guarantee it'll work for this situation. You just need to find the right combination.

    Query fuel use results

My usage is far more city/suburb biased than yours so I'm averaging only 1.8l/100km over about 13,000km since I reset the trip computer (though that includes a trip to Brisbane & back and a few trips to Newcastle, Southern Highlands, etc.). From what I've read, using the petrol engine to...

    Fuel Economy

Given that it allows you to switch to EV mode at any speed, I figure it's safe to do so .. it's just nowhere near as efficient at those higher speeds. After all, it'll still run the electric motor even when in Auto mode as you go to accelerate.

    Fuel Economy

Yes, mine's the same - battery charge level only varies a few % up or down while in hybrid mode on the freeway. If I know I'm going to have "too much" battery by the end of the journey, I'll force it into EV mode either during slower (roadworks, for example) zones, or once my remaining journey...

    360 animation.

Hi, So firstly, this is only when you engage Reverse - it's not activated with the 360 camera button. Mine behaves as the video shows (plus the beeps/tones from the reverse sensors), with the addition that when you get close to the object behind, it switches to a top-down view to give you a...

    Charge mode

I'm not going quite that far this time, but my experience (on a trip to the Gold Coast) is that once the battery is depleted, you'll get the figures you were seeing. They're not great, but they're not terrible for a large-ish SUV. I suspect the most efficient method would be to keep the...

    Charging problems

Batteries degrade over time, so the total effective capacity will drop. I've done 11,000km in just under a year but still get the full 63km indicated on a full charge (though it drops to 62km pretty quickly after starting the drive). I'm not sure why yours was only ever 52km maximum.

    Charge mode

I guess you should just chase up your dealer for any updates. You're getting the car at the right time of the year too, as running the aircon doesn't require the ICE to run whereas in winter, the ICE is needed to supply heat. I've had mine just on a year now and still very happy, especially...

    Charge mode

This seems to normally happen when travelling down a hill for an extended period. Rumour has it that the ICE kicks in to help with the engine braking, as too much regen can make the batteries overheat. Otherwise, the ICE is also needed for cabin heating as it uses the coolant to supply heat.

    Aussie 2022 PHEV Model

My understanding is that it's electric motor only, because you can get it pretty close to 100% in EV mode, and adding the ICE would then far exceed 100%.

Download the PlugShare app to your phone and just set it to look for compatible chargers in the areas you're traveling to. You can't use DC fast chargers like the NRMA ones, so just look for Type 2. You're going to be limited to 3.2kW (the most the car will accept) which gives about 15km/hour...

    Auto Dipping Headlights

I'd be interested to know how you get on. The fog lights seem to have the widest spread of light of any vehicle I've experienced, but it would be good to know how effective they are in heavy fog.

    Auto Dipping Headlights

Hi Bryan, I haven't driven in heavy fog but I think you'll find that if you have the front fog lights activated, the auto high beam function is disabled for exactly the reason you've listed above. So the fix is to use the fog lights in fog.

Automatically active the Front parking sensors ?

We don't get them in Australia either.

Waze lag using adroid auto in mg ehs

I've seen this as well on a relatively decent phone (Pixel 5). My 'fix' is to switch to one of the other screens via the Home/Car/HVAC buttons, and then back to Android Auto using the * button on the steering wheel. This seems to bring Waze back into sync .. for a while. Rinse and repeat.
