My car is (without doubt) set to charge limit to 80% but on a few occasions recently, it has charged to a displayed 90% SOC overnight. Pretty odd, it hasn't done this historically. Anyone else ever experience this?
For ZS, and I would strongly believe MG4 also, there is no option to set battery charge limit on standard range. This is only a feature on the long range, hence why SR owners cannot utilise/see it. It is also nothing to worry about as it's different battery chemistries - it doesn't really matter...
You're in the ZS forum FYI.
1 On the ZS, and I'm sure is the same on the MG4 (albeit I could be wrong) to change the settings for the amount (%) you want to charge, you click that cog looking thing at the top right of your ("EV MANAGEMENT) screenshot, there's a drop down on there and you can...
See attached. 87Kw speed achieved. Anecdotally, I have seen the below (from the old version of ISmart app screenshot) on a few occasions and would consider reasonably normal. Obviously making allowances for charger/temp etc. But would say this wasn't exceptional.
And... If they end up not knowing (likely) this is how you do it. It's actually buried quite deep in app and not that obvious or intuitive how to find it.

They login (this is android but likely virtually identical process for apple). Click the top left once logged in.Pic1
You get this...
Further to this - they probably don't have a clue what to do. May be worth nudging them that by far the path of least resistance is for them to just require the old owner to delink on the app - it's a 2 second job.
