Yep. It was Very different to the gentle speed limit chimes.

Thanks for the advice but there were no speed cameras. First time it went off was when I was in a small queue for a traffic island that led onto a dual carriage way. I thought it might Lane monitoring as there’s lots of white lines on the island but I turned that off and it still went off again...

I’ve just had a test drive and this alarm went off! Dealer thinks it might be the driver alertness alarm and as I wear glasses it might not be able to judge eye position. It’s not the same as the speed limit gentle chimes, it was more like a self-destruct imminent detonation alarm! Driver...
