this is fixed in later updates, if your ACC short press increments speed by 5 km/h you need an update to fix, it wll also remember your distance preference between starts after the update

correct. on my first MG i went to R38 via R27 (which is SWI131 so didn't need to disable version check) on my second i went straight to R38 and the MCU updated to same 131.1.3.0 despite it being a SWI69 update

my USB upgrade from R05 to R38 seemed to upgrade the MCU (version number displayed at least)?

it also seem to remember the A/C recycle setting across starts, which is a feature i was really missing.

R38 also works great on the Australian Excite 51, rear camera works fine and it seems to have fixed the left * button forgetting it's setting all the time.

I just tried R27 on one of my excite 51's install was fine, and love the overlay on AA, but sadly no rear camera, so I've rolled back to R05 for now.

I think it's pretty normal, 16A rated chargers from my testing actually pull ~15A, my UMC with 10A tail pulls 9A and 15A tail pulls 14A, 32A tail, and seperate 32A EVSE both pull 30A. The 8A MG granny charger pulls 7A. what you get into the car is then ~10% less than that for inverter and other...

Looks the same to me, so i guess it's just software. the way it's built i suspect it's rated to 16A. I just put a meter on both, the UMC with 10A tail pulls 9A and car gets ~1.7kW while the AU MG granny pulls 7A and the car gets ~1.45kW

I have a UMC with a confirmed firmware updated 15A tail, i get 2.9kW into the MG4 consistently (not sure what it's drawing as i don't have a meter on that circuit).

the MG granny charger that comes with the Australian MG4's is only rated and outputting 8A which is annoying considering our outlets are usually on 20A circuits and more than happy to do at least 10A and 15A with the correct socket. any chance someone could take a photo of the internals of a UK...
