Had to wait a couple of months to get an appointment at Glynn Hopkins in Mill Hill and they used their scan tool to clear the fault and it hasn’t come back. Jolly annoying whilst it was happening.
I noticed this at 30,000’ish miles in the summer and just had them done at 34,000’ish. Glynn Hopkins claimed all mechanical wearing parts are 10,000/12-months warrranty. Had to order the bits from China - £280 for both front wheels and a couple of hours of labour.
But that’s a day off work to do that and then possibly another after they’ve had to order a part.
As I say, love the car but the very poor after-sales support (where I can actually get to) will probably stop me from buying another MG.
A few weeks ago my facelift 2023 SE LR started alerting that the airbag module had a fault. Initially it raised a fault (in the app and as a text & email message) every thirty seconds which quickly got tedious, but disconnecting the yellow multi-way connectors under the front seats, squirting in...
When you say parcel shelf do you keep it upright in the boot (using bungees?) OR did you mean the cover that goes over the sub-boot?
Could you take a photo? I’m keen to do this with a full sized wheel rather than a space-saver.
I hate the idea of the bottle of tire-destroying-gloop as being my way home in the event of a puncture. In my previous car (Nissan Qashqai) I pulled out that polystyrene former from under the boot and bought a full sized wheel to go under there (it fit, just) and although I never needed it in...
I did follow the whole thing up with Churchill because my contention is that them charging for a service that is of no use is wrong. I asked if I could pay more for a windscreen replacement service that would work for MG4 OR if not could they refund the cost of what is a pointless add-on to the...
Here’s a little trick I almost feel guilty admitting to using.
I live in Islington, no off-road parking/charging so I rely on street-chargers. The lamp post/bollard ones are great for overnight as they are limited to 3.5KW but there are also some parking bays with Source London 7KW ones which...
I’ve found that a USB memory stick plugged into the RH port (so the USB-C hole) via an adaptor will often cause the system to behave strangely. I think the entertainment system does not tolerate corrupt USB storage at all. Even memory sticks that have worked for a few days seem to go this way...
After a couple of small scuffs I went looking; these guys were the third ones I tried and the match was excellent (first two really poor)

As middle age sets in you’ll. find your high frequency hearing drops off; the cruel irony is that by the time you can afford decent speakers they’re a waste of money…!
Had my rear window smashed and charge cable nicked yesterday; it happens.
Go through to AutoGlass via the insurance only to be told they don’t hold any MG windows in stock and it would be at least five days. I live in a London terraced street with no off road parking and my wife uses the car...
